Monks Mound AR Tour Complete – More To Come
Visitors to Cahokia Mounds, a National Historic Site, can now "see" the City of the Sun as it appeared 1000 years ago. Smartphone cameras activate image-recognition markers placed throughout the site. Knowledge points and audio add to the story.

Using state-of-the-art drone technology, the 2000+ acre site was meticulously scanned. Data were compared with the mound heights and relative distances as recorded over time. The result is a historically accurate 3D model of existing and original mounds long since gone.
